Hey Everyone,

We’re very pleased to announce the arrival and settling in of “mastering/mixing engineer/producer/guy/person/friend” Troye Lilley.

Troye is one of the hottest mastering engineers out of Joburg, who’s done plenty albums for the big names up there. He’s been wanting to move down for a few years, and a rather timely flood of his studio facilitated the change.

Another great friend in our line-up.

We’re also busy with the Reality Radio (previously known as Restless Natives) quintet.

We recorded them early in 2009, and due to scheduling difficulties, we only managed to finish the overdubs in December. But that is all done. The band is now reviewing the material, and ensuring they’re happy with the final compositions.

Then it’s all off to Neal to mix.

We’ll keep you posted on this amazing album.

Also, check them out on Facebook and hook up with Lee “Lips” Thompson. He’s the trumpeter in the band, but is also runs “Silent Revolution Productions”. Lee and his business partner Kesivan are doing amazing things to bring new music to the scene.

Right now we’re busy with the Galvan Trio.

We had a great weekend with them recently and will be focusing on getting the overdubs done and the songs mixed this week.

Obviously this is a bit late, but congratulations to the Khan, Glenn, Paul and Neil on achieving Gold in a week of release and Platinum shortly thereafter for “Stardust Galaxies”!

Congratulations must also go to Theo (a close friend of ours and their producer) and Neal (unfortunately a close friend of mine) the man responsible for mixing the album right here at Sui Studios!

So, we finally have our news blog up and running. Forgive us but a number of our posts are going to be a bit behind schedule. (i.e. not really news anymore). But they are things we are proud of and feel worth mentioning.
